Hygiene and Sanitation Department

The hygiene and sanitation department of Tubah Council is responsible for:

• ·         Elaborating and to applying the measures relating to compliance with the rules of hygiene and public health within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Monitoring the collection and treatment of household waste and other wastes within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Instructing the regulatory procedures relating to hygiene in relation to the bodies concerned within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Ensuring the cleanliness of public spaces such as streets, markets, public places, and a lot more within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Controlling the operation of building sanitation equipment housing and economic activities in relation to services concerned

• ·         fight against various pathogens within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Implementing information, awareness and education campaigns in terms of hygiene and sanitation;

• ·         Studying and carrying out the construction work of the primary and secondary storm water drainages within Tubah Municipality

• ·         Ensuring surface run-off flow of primary and secondary storm, water and drainages.
