Scholarships grants to 23 University of Bamenda Students

The Mayor of Tubah in collaboration with the Member of Parliament for Bafut/Tubah, Hon. Agho Oliver and Senator Regina Mundi have granted scholarships worth 1.5 million to 23 students of the University of Bamenda.
Following a notice sent out in October calling for applications from students who could not afford fees, over 70 students applied. The chosen 23 were taken based on their backgrounds which were determined with a humanitarian perspective

Gratitude

Of the 23 students, 3 are masters students, 16 level 100, 2 level 200 and 4  level 300. The students have expressed gratitude to the Mayor, Hon. Agho Oliver and Senator Regina Mundi for investing in their education. The Mayor of Tubah considers education as a pivotal sphere of the municipality and is constantly invested in getting youths from the streets into classrooms and areas of honest work. The fees for these students have been paid and they have all been taking lessons since October 2021 when the don went operational.
